Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 c. bread flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 pkg dry yeast

Directions

In 2 c. microwave proof measure mix buttermilk, water, honey and butter. Heat about 60 seconds on high. Meanwhile in bread maker place yeast, then flour mixed with salt. Don't let salt touch the yeast, it won't rise. When liquid is 110 to 115 degrees pour into machine. Close and start on white bread cycle. (This is my favorite easy loaf, I make one or two a week.)
