Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 t. salt and pepper
  • 1/3 cup water

Directions

Mix 1/2 can of soup with all ingredients except water and place in a shallow pan or loaf pan. Preheat oven to 375 and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes. In a small pan combine water and rest of the remaining soup, plus 2 or 3 T. of meat drippings. Stir and heat and serve with meatloaf.


Serves 6 to 8.
