Adam got this recipe from Buddy Guy, the jazz musician in New Orleans. This is a fantastic recipe. They can also be put on an outside grill.

Ingredients

  • 8-10 meaty country style spareribs
  • 1 liter Dr. Pepper (not diet)
  • 1 Tablespoon liquid smoke
  • 6 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 1 large onion, cut in quarters
  • BBQ sauce

Directions

Place spareribs in a large pot, add Dr. Pepper to cover ribs, add liquid smoke, garlic and onion.

Bring to a boil, then simmer until ribs are tender. Place ribs in baking pan, cover with your favorite BBQ sauce. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
