Ingredients

  • vanilla beans, vodka

Directions

Split five vanilla beans lengthwise, put them in a 16-oz. jar, add one pint of vodka and cap tightly. Let it stand for four to six weeks. Remove the beans. The remaining liquid is your homemade vanilla extract.
