A very fast way is to use seedless raspberry jam. Melt over low heat add lemon and spice's if desired. may also add framboise or kirsch liquor 2 taste. Will thicken when cooled, most often served warm. Both recipe's may be made savory by decreasing sugar and using herbs.


  • 1 package of frozen organic raspberries / non sweetend
  • zest from 1 lemon
  • sugar or splenda
  • cinnamon, fresh nutmeg to suite your taste.
  • ground ginger id desired.
  • a slight amont of fresh ground pepper is exquisite for a unexpected twist!


Puree raspberries in a food processor 4 a few minutes.
strain mixture through chinoise or simular strainer that is non reactive.
pour 1/2 the mixture into small sauce pan, add sugar 2 taste and bring 2 simmer until the sugar is disolved. If using splenda add after raspberry puree has come 2 a simmer and stir on heat 30 seconds.
remove from heat and add lemon zest to taste, more cinnamon than other spices generally.
stir in remaining raspberry puree.
