- 4 cups fresh fruit
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- sugar to taste
- 1 pinch salt
- mint or fresh fruit -- for garnish
- Fresh fruit:
- 4 cups of sliced strawberries orpeeled peaches, nectarines, kiwi fruit, bananas, papayas, or mangos.
Spread sliced fruit in one dessert style cup and spritz with lemon juice to prevent browning. Place in refrigerator, until chilled.
Combine juices sugar (amount of sugar will depend on the sweetness you desire) and salt and stir until sugar is dissolved
Place mixture in plastic bowlcontainer in the freezer. After about an hour, the edges get icy and the mixture must be re-processed until frozen throughout
Once mixture is completely frozen, scoop on top of fresh fruit and garnish with fresh mint sprig
