- 1 pkg.(8 oz.)Philadelphia Cream Cheese - softened
- 1 cup butter
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- colored sugar
- For chocolate add 3 Tbls. cocoa
Beat cream cheese, butter, granulated sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add flour; mix well. Cover. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness on lightly floured surface. Cut into shapes with cookie cutters; sprinkle with colored sugar.
Place on un greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350F for 12 to 15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Cool completely on wire racks.
