Can be made one day ahead. You could add your sunflower seeds if you wish but this is a pretty crunchy salad as is.


  • 1 bunch broccoli
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • several dashes curry powder to taste


Cut broccoli into small pieces. Cook and crumble the bacon. Place broccoli, bacon and rest of ingredients in a bowl and toss.
