- 5 eggs
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1(14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1(12 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Directions:
1. Grease and flour a 9X13 inch pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Separate 5 eggs, and beat the egg whites in a large mixing bowl. Add 1-cup sugar slowly to the whites, beating constantly. Add the yolks one by one, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla. Sift the flour, and stir in into the egg mixture. Pour the patter into the prepared pan. Bake about 20 minutes, or until done. Cool.
3. Blend the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, whole milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Poke holes in the cake and pour the milks over slowly. Refrigerate.
4. "A lot of these cakes call for meringue, but I used whipped cream on mine."
