Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb. pork roast
  • 1 (16 oz.) can butter beans
  • < c. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch

Directions

Roast pork according to cookbook instructions (approxi-
mately 2 hours for 3 to 4 pound roast). One half hour before
pork is done pour previously heated mixture of butter beans and
brown sugar over pork roast. Leave uncovered until roasting
time is completed. Then remove pork and make gravy on top of
stove by adding cornstarch and stirring until smooth.
