Ingredients

  • 1 1/2cups flour
  • 3/4 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. lemon juice and rind
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

Directions

Mix together the flour, butter and powdered sugar, just as you would for a crust. Press gently into ungreased 13X9 pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
At the same time, beat eggs for the full 20 minutes. Then add remaining ingrediants, blending well. Spread over baked crust and bake 20 minutes more. Cool, then cut into squares.
