Ingredients
- 1 large bunch broccoli, wash,
- peel stalks and cut into
- pieces
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1/2 tsp. garlic
- 1 stick butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 celery plus leaves
- 4 to 5 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
Directions
Put broccoli in Baggies in microwave on High for 4
minutes. In large soup pot add garlic, parsley, butter, onion
and celery. Put broccoli in blender with half and half, chop
or liquefy. Then add to soup pot. Keep blending broccoli and
half and half until all broccoli is in soup pot. Simmer for 15
minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add flour to thicken.
Towards end add cheese, cut in cubes. Melt in broccoli soup.
