Ingredients
- Artichokes, water, spices
Directions
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add spices. I use garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, basil, etc (any spices you like)and a little italian salad dressing (or you can use just a little oil)
Trim the stem and leaves on the artichokes
When water is at a boil add the artichokes. Depending on size they will take 20 - 40 minutes. Check near the stem with a fork for tenderness. When soft they are done. Drain and serve. I serve with melted garlic butter for dipping.
