This is an incredibly simple recipe. It's basically baked chicken, intensely flavored with garlic. It is moist, though and will fall off the bone if cooked long and slow as directed. If you're looking for a chicken with a sauce, this is probably not the recipe you desire. Hope you enjoy!


  • One whole chicken (cut up) or equivalent # of any parts of the chicken. (Note: you may use skinless parts if desired)
  • 40 Cloves of garlic
  • Ground Pepper to taste
  • Garlic Salt


Add chicken parts seasoned with the pepper and garlic salt to a casserole dish. Distribute garlic cloves throughout chicken. Cover (very important) and bake on 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Uncover and bake for another 45 min-1 hour until brown. Remove from any juices and serve.
