Extremely good --you can make it a day or two ahead.........


  • 8-9 potatoes
  • 2 t. salt
  • Dash garlic salt
  • 1 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Chopped chives
  • Paprika to taste
  • Butter to taste


Pare potatoes, cook, drain and mash
While potatoes cook, combine sour cream, cream cheese and chives.
Mix together with mashed potatoes.
Spoon into 2 qt. casserole dish.
Brush top with melted butter and sprinkle with paprika.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

May be prepared ahead of time. Allow more time to reheat if refrigerated.
