This macaroni and cheese is great with pork chops and a green vegetable.


  • 2 Cups Macaroni pasta - uncooked
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 2 X-large eggs
  • 1/2 to 3/4 pound of sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 tbsp. butter


Pour macaroni into boiling water and cook until almost done. Meanwhile use one tbsp. butter to grease a two quart baking dish. In baking dish beat the eggs and milk until combined. Add the salt and grated cheese (reserve 1/2 cup or so to put on top). Stir in the cooked and drained macaroni. Top with reserved cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly and lightly browned, approx. 45 minutes. Allow to set 5 minutes before serving.
