This is the only way my family will eat scampi. I leave tails on shrimp and use a pyrex pie plate to marinate, with tails up, and also to broil. An easy and delicious recipe.


  • 5 or 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 4 tbsp. parsley
  • 1/3 Cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 Cup olive oil
  • 1 lb. large shrimp, uncooked and deveined


Combine all ingredients. Pour over shrimp and
marinate overnight or at least 2 hours.

Broil 6 to 8 minutes, or until shrimp turn pink.
