• 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 ounces dried sour cherries
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup quick cooking couscous


This is also delicious with other dried
fruit such as cranberries and apricots. Prep Original recipe makes 4 servings.

1 In a 2 quart saucepan, heat chicken broth, water, dried
cherries, butter, salt, and pepper to boiling over high heat.
2 Stir in couscous; cover and remove from heat. Let stand
5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve immediately.
