Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 4 tbsp. water
  • 4 tbsp. packed brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp. dark sesame oil
  • 2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 2 tsp. minced fresh ginger

Directions

Combine all ingredients and stir well until sugar is dissolved. Marinate steaks in a food-safe plastic bag or non-reactive glass bowl in the refrigerator for at least four, and no longer than twenty-four hours. Grill or broil steak to desired doneness.

Makes about 1 cup marinade.
