this is a good and simple entree or great for sandwiches. We like small rolls or buns with a little horseradish sauce. good tailgate or game party fare.


  • Pork tenderloin. pepper and other spices, to taste. Sylvia's hot spicy mix is good. Apple juice, generic brands. 1 or 2 apples,any style.


rub tenderloin with spice mix and let stand for about 30 minutes. Then, marinate tenderloin in apple juice, in a plastic bag, at least for one hour, but overnight if possible, refrigerated. Save marinade for basting. Put the tenderloin on a sheet of foil, sprayed with Pam or something similiar. Put about 1" of marinade in. Fold foil over loosely. Put on med-hot grill. Baste and add some marinade as you feel necessary. Cook till done, depending on the size and thickness. About 10 minutes before it's done, put a sliced apple or two in to bake or stew in the juice.
