Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 clove garlic, studded with 3 whole cloves
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • bay leaf
  • 1 small tomato, peeled and diced
  • 1 pound green beans, cut in 1"" pieces
  • 2 teaspones cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

"Bring water, garlic, onion, bay leaf, and green beans to boil. Cover pan and simmer over low heat foe about 20 min, or until the beans are tender. Remove garlic and cloves and stir in vinegar, salt, and cinnamon. Cook, uncovered, for 2 to 3 min.


Serves 4 to 6.
