Ingredients

  • 1 pk (9 oz) chocolate wafer cookies
  • 1/2 c sweet ground chocolate cocoa mix; (such as Ghirardelli)
  • 1/3 c Chambord or other raspberry-flavored liqueur
  • 2 tb light corn syrup
  • 1-1/2 c finely chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions

In a food processor, grind the cookies to fine crumbs. Add the chocolate, Chambord and corn syrup and process until the mixture sticks togeter. Transfer to a medium bowl. Add 1 cup of the nuts and stir until well mixed. Roll into 1 1/4" balls. Roll the balls in the remaining chopped nuts. Place on wax paper or paper lined jelly roll pan. Serve immediately or refrigerate until serving time.


Makes about 3 dozen bon bons.
