Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tarter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c finely chopped nuts

Directions

Combine egg whites,cream of tarter, and salt.Beat until soft peaks form. Add sugar 1 tbsp at a time and comtinue beating untils mixture is very stiff and glossy. Carefully fold in nuts. Drop from tbsp in mounds onto greased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated 275 degree ovem for one hour. Turn off oven and let oven and meringues cool together. ENJOY!!!!!
