Ingredients
- Pound Cake Mix
- 1 Marzipan paste
- Buttercream icing
Directions
Make the pound cake according to package directions. Slice up the pound cake into several thin layers (horizontally). Take two of the thin layers, and frost with the buttercream, set aside. Take the marzipan and roll it into a thin sheet, and put on top of your just put together layers, and then cut the layers into tiny squares. Put your tiny squares onto a rack, and frost as desired. Decorate with sprinkles, or pipe tiny frosting flowers.

White Buttercream Icing
1 lb. (2 cups) solid shortening or
2 lb. confectioner's sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. butter flavoring
2 tsp. almond extract or other flavor
1/3 cup water (less 2-3 Tbs. for stiff)
Place ingredients in mixing bowl in the order indicated. Mix for 2 minutes, then scrape the bowl to remove shortening or butter from the sides and bottom of the bowl. Continue mixing at low speed for approximately 10 minutes. When the icing is ready, it will take on a satiny shine.

CHOCOLATE ICING
1/3 cup Cocoa
1 lb Confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup Margarine
1/2 cup Evaporated milk
1/2 teas Vanilla
Mix cocoa with the powder sugar. Warm remaining ingredients until margarine melts. Slowly add cocoa mixture and beat until creamy.
