Ingredients
- 1 cut up fryer chicken
- 1 cup flour or Bisquick
- 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup Parmegianne cheese (you know that stuff in the green can)1 teaspoon each of oregano, thyme, basil (to taste)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup margerine or butter
Directions
Put margerine or butter in 13x9 baking dish. Put in 350 degree oven until melted. Take pan out of oven and pour melted butter/margerine into coffee cup or dish.
Wash chicken. Mix egg and milk in shallow dish or bowl. Put dry ingredients in a bag or another bowl. Dip each piece of chicken into egg and milk mixture then coat with flour mixture. (I used to like to shake the bag when I was little.) Put chicken in baking dish. Drizzle melted butter/margerine over chicken. Sprinkle left over flour mixture over chicken.
Bake at approx. 350 degrees for approx. 45 minutes, or until done. Baste every 15 minutes or so for a crunchy coating.
