- 4 1/2 ounces quick-cooking oats, uncooked
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3/4 teaspoon almond extract
- Sweetener equivalent to 3 teaspoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- ground cinnamon.
Directions
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients, except cinnamon, in the order given. Mix well with a spoon.
Place mixture on a nonstick cookie sheet. Shape into a rectangle 1/4-inch thick, slightly moistening your fingertips with water as you work.
Sprinkle with Cinnamon. Bake 1 hour. Cut into squares immediately.
