I have never tried this recipe. I also believe you can by fondant already made in party supply stores and bakery supply stores. It comes in sheets. It has been a long time so I'm not sure. I found several recipes by just searching "fondant recipes". These just looked the easiest. Maybe you will be able to find more with the correct spelling. Good Luck:-)
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine
- 1/3 cup white corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 1/2 cups sifted confectioner's sugar
Directions
In a large mixing bow, blend softened butter, corn syrup, salt and vanilla.
Add confectioner's sugar all at once.
Mix together first with spoon, then with your hands, kneading until smooth.
Many varieties may be made from one batch by adding coconut, candied or dried fruits, nuts, or flavorings.
