Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 2 cups honey
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups cooked pumpkin
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 1/3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 2/3 cup chopped nuts
  • 2/3 cup raisins

Directions

Mix together oil, honey, eggs, pumpkin and water. Add remaining ingredients except nuts and raisins. Stir in nuts and raisins. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-60 minutes in two greased 9"" bread pans. Let cool before slicing. - Glenda Knepp, Turner, Michigan
