Ingredients
- 10 chicken wings cut up, tips discarded
- 1 cup flour
- salt, pepper, cayenne, garlic powder (to taste)
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 cup of hot sauce (i.e., Louisiana Hot Sauce or Tabasco)
- Oil for frying
Directions
Combine flour salt, pepper, cayenne, garlic powder in a zippered plastic bag. Add chicken wings. Toss and coat thoroughly. Fry in batches for approximately 10 - 15 minutes until golden. Drain on paper towel in oven proof dish. Keep warm in 250 F oven. Melt butter or margarine. Add hot sauce to butter. Toss with wings Serve with bleu cheese dressing and celery sticks. Yields 20 wings.
