Ingredients
- 3 lbs. chili meat
- 2 large onions, finely chopped
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- 4 heaping Tbs. chili powder
- 1 tsp. comino (cumin)
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- 1 tsp. salt
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 level tsp. paprika
- 12 red peppers, chopped
- 4 or 5 serrano peppers, seeded and chopped
Directions
Sear meat and onion mixture to meat is gray and add tomato sauce and water. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for one hour and fifteen minutes. Thicken with 2 heaping tablespoons of flour mixed with a little water. Simmer for an additional 30 minutes.
