Ingredients
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 chicken breast, cut into thin strips
- 1 (8oz) can water chestnuts, sliced
- 1 cup carrots, julienne
- 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/3 cup white wine
- 1-1/2 cups red cabbage, chopped fine
- 1 cup chow mein noodles
Directions
Boil soy sauce and water in a skillet. Add chicken. Reduce, cover and simmer for 6 minutes. Drain and cool. Combine chestnuts, carrots, onions and chicken. Combine sugar, oil, vinegar and ginger; shake or mix well. Pour over the salad. Toss in the noodles and red cabbage.
