You can add a few drops of worcestershire sauce if desired.

Ingredients

  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can gr. pea soup
  • 1 can consumme'
  • 2 soup cans of milk (or half in half for richer flavor)
  • 2 6-oz pkgs frozen Alaska crabmeat, thawed and drained
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • a few drops of cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp of cajun spice
  • 2 TBS cream sherry

Directions

About 20 minutes before serving, mix the two cans of soup and the consomme' milk (or half and half), the salt and pepper, the cajun spices and the cayenne pepper. Simmer for ten minutes over low heat. Then add crabmeat and simmer for ten more minutes. Just before serving, add sherry and stir. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
