Ingredients

  • 1 Lb. crawfish tails
  • 2 (8-inch) pie shells, cooked
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onion
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions

Bake pie shells at 350 F for 10 minutes. Set aside. Grind crawfish tails. Add bread crumbs, salt and pepper and set aside. Over slow heat, sauti onion, bell pepper, parsley, garlic powder and green onion in margarine. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Add bread crumbs and crawfish. Mix well and let simmer for 10 minutes. Add water and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour all ingredients in pie shell. Bake at 400 F for 10 minutes. Serve hot. Serves 8.
