Ingredients

  • 2 10-oz. frozen Brussels sprouts
  • 1 c boiling water
  • 1 t salt
  • 1/2 c grated sharp cheese
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 1/4 c spiced dry bread crumbs
  • 1/3 c chopped walnuts

Directions

Simmer Brussels sprouts in boiling, salted water for 4-5 minutes. Drain; turn into greased 1-1/4 quart casserole. Dot with cheese. Melt butter in small fry pan; add bread crumbs and walnuts. Cook, stirring until lightly browned.
Sprinkle over Brussels sprouts. Bake in preheated 400 oven for 10 minutes.
