  • 1 pumpkin

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut pumpkin in half, remove seeds. Cut each half into 4 pieces. Place on a shallow baking sheet, skin side down. Bake, uncovered, about 45 minutes, checking occasionally, until tender. When cool enough to handle, scoop pulp out of shell; place in a bowl and mash. (You'll get a slightly firmer puree this way than when cooking in water.
