My family loves this and I can make it in the morning for the evening meal when we are usually in a rush with homework and sports

Ingredients

  • 3 lb chuck roast,about 1/4 cup prepared horseradish,1 can tomato soup,1/2 teaspoon thyme,salt and pepper.carrots,onions,potatoes

Directions

Place the roast in a crock pot and cover with horseradish.Add a small amount of water to the pot.Pour soup over roast.Add thyme,salt and pepper and quartered onion.Cook for several hours-at least 4.Then add carrots and potatoes until cooked,about 1 hour.


Serve with crusty bread and salad.Sometimes I omit the potatoes and serve with hot buttered noodles.
