Ingredients

  • Dark green long hot peppers.

Directions

Preheat oven to 375. Wash and dry peppers. Place in an oven proof pan/dish. Drizzle enough olive oil over the peppers to coat the bottom of teh pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper (optional - add whole, peeled garlic cloves). Bake until peppers are soft with dark, roasted marks. When peppers cool, cut off stem ends and remove seeds - you can cut into small pieces or leave intact. Pour oil from pan over peppers. (Baking the peppers stops the thin outside "skin" form separating as it often does when you fry them.)
