• 1 pound hamburger
  • 2 cans pinto beans
  • 2 cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 4-6 teaspoons chili powder
  • grated cheddar cheese
  • chopped onion
  • corn chips


Brown the ground beef and drain. Stir in beans, stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, sugar and chili powder. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer at least one hour.

Serve with grated cheese and onions sprinkled on top of each individual serving bowl. We also like to crush corn chips on top.
