Ingredients

  • Cake-
  • 1 Cup Butter
  • 1 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 2/3 Cup sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 2 Cups-12oz bag mini choc chips(divided)
  • Frosting--
  • 1 Cup choc chips (reserved)
  • 1 Cup Butter
  • 2 Cups Confec. sugar
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla

Directions

Cake--
preheat oven to 350. Grease bottom of a 15x10 cookie sheet and line with wax paper.
In lg. mixing bowl combine butter and sugars til creamy. Add eggs 1 at a time. Beat well. Add vanilla and salt, gradually add flour Mix. Stir in 1 Cup mini chips. Spread in pan and bake 20 - 25 min. COOL

FROSTING--
Melt 1 c choc chips til smooth In small bowl combine butter and confec sugar tul creamy add vanilla and melted choc chips blend til smooth.

ASSEMBLE---
Loosen cake and invert onto floured cloth. Peel off paper and trim edges of cake. Cut cake into 4 equal pieces, assemble into layers with frosting in between, Spread frosting over entire cake.
