Ingredients

  • 100gms all purpose flour
  • 100gms maize flour or cornmeal
  • 50gms or 2 oz sugar
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 225ml or 8 fluid oz milk
  • 50 gms or 2 oz butter melted

Directions

Heat oven to 425F.Grease and flour an 8' square baking tin.Stir flour, maize flour, sugar, baking powder&salt till blended.Beat eggs and milk and butter till combined. Pour in the milk mixture in the dry ingredients.Stir till well mixed. Pour into the prepared tin.Bake for 20-25 minutes or till golden brown.
