The butter should be clarified and the pieces of crad dipped in the hot butter arter it has been extracted from the shell. There are many things that you can do with crab meat, but your description was very vague as to what you really want to do with it or how you wanted to eat it........Ray

Ingredients

  • Pre-cooked frozen crab
  • Melted butter

Directions

Assuming that the crab has been cleaned and pre-sooked, boilwater in a dutch oven or a pot large enough to accomodate the amount of crab you wish to prepare. break the bodies in half so that you will have a cluster of leggs and 1 pincher on each half of the body. Place the crab in the water and turn off the heat as soon as the water starts to boil again. Let the crad steep/stay in the hot water until they are totally hot, (turning off the off the heat will prevent over cooking.) Retrieve crab with thongs and serve with a nut cracker and a small container of melted butter on the side.
