Ingredients

  • Not oyster, but regular crackers. Hope it helps.
  • 4 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • About 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • Additional salt

Directions

Combine flour, salt and sugar; put in 1/4 cup butter. Stir in enough milk to make a stiff dough. Roll dough to 1/8 inch thickness on a lightly floured surface (if dough is too elastic, let rest 15 minutes). Cut into desired shapes with cookie or pastry cutters. Place crackers on lightly greased cookie sheets and pierce with a fork. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with additional salt. Yields about 10 dozen 2 x 1 crackers.
