I've made this for many years and it's delicious. You can serve a single apricot in each glass with a little of the brandy. The apricots plump up and are pretty potent!


  • 1 pound dried apricots
  • 1 pound rock candy (the kind with the strings in the center or without if you can find it)
  • 1 quart or fifth of vodka


Put all ingredients in a large glass jar with a lid that clamps down. Leave it on your kitchen counter. Stir each week for about a month. Remove strings and it's ready to drink when the month is up!
