- egg, milk, fresh herbs (?), salt, pepper
Only really works with stale bread. Mix the above together like you are making scrambled eggs. Soak the bread in the egg mix so that the egg soaks right through. Fry in a frying pan. Don't cook for too long! Also good without the herbs so you can have the resulting eggy bread with honey or maple syrup.....great for Sunday morning.
