These are unlike the banana chips that you get in the market (which are actually fried in oil). These taste like candy. I like them chewy. I've been using a dehydrator since the 70's and love it. There are some great books out there (try your library first). They give you great tips and recipes.

Ingredients

  • bananas
  • lemon juice or "Fruit Fresh"

Directions

Slice bananas about 1/4" thick. Make sure that they are all evenly sliced. Sprinkle with fresh lemon juice or dunk in Fruit Fresh mixture. Dry in your dehydrator according to directions. (approx 12-24 hours depending on how chewy you like them)
