Ingredients

  • 3 lb. gar meat, ground
  • 2 med. onions, minced
  • 2 c. bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tbsp. paprika
  • 2 tbsp. chili powder
  • Salt & pepper
  • Sauce:
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 c. catsup
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 1 tbsp. Tabasco
  • Salt & pepper

Directions

Mix all sauce ingredients. Allow to set 1 hour, correct seasoning. Ready to use.
Combine first 7 ingredients, run through meat grinder and form into patties. Place on grill and baste with sauce.
