Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. boneless beef
  • 1 pkg. Knorr's Mix for Goulash
  • equal parts olive oil and butter
  • one onion
  • 8 oz. fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tbls. tomato paste
  • 1 8oz. carton sour cream
  • worcestershire to taste
  • caraway seeds
  • red wine about half cup to 3/4.
  • garlic to taste
  • paprika

Directions

Brown meat in equal parts olive oil and butter. Take out.
Saute onions and garlic and mushroons in same skillet or pot. Put meat back in along with seasonings from Knorr's.
Add tomato paste, wine and everything else except for the sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let simmer covered till slightly thick. Before serving add sour cream. This dish is awesome served over mash potatoes.
