Ingredients
- SIZZLING RICE SOUP
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen pea pods or fresh
- 5 c. chicken broth
- 1 c. sm. cooked shrimp (5 oz. can)
- 1/2 c. chopped bok choy
- 1/4 c. sliced water chestnuts
- Sliced fresh mushrooms, the amount to your taste
- 2 tbsp. sliced green onion, crosswise
Directions
Thaw pea pods by pouring hot water over them, if using frozen. Cut into 1 inch strips crosswise. In a saucepan heat broth to boiling, add pea pods, shrimp, bok choy, water chestnuts, and mushrooms. Reduce heat and simmer 2-5 minutes. Add green onion and simmer to keep warm. 8 servings.
