After buying and baking in numerous metals, shiny and dull, light, heavy, doubled and pottery glazed (for over 50 years) the simple pyrex glass baking pan has given me the most successes. Give it a try. Good Luck

Ingredients

  • Melted butter
  • or
  • Slightly beaten egg White

Directions

Before filling pie plate, brush bottom crust with melted butter, and let it set. You may coat a second time, and let it set. Alternately, half an egg white ,slightly beaten also helps.Proceed as recipe dictates.
