• 2 c. water
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. dry instant coffee granules (fresh jar)
  • 1/2 choped vanilla bean
  • 1 1/2 c. vodka
  • Caramel coloring (optional)


Boil water & sugar until dissolved. Turn off heat. Slowly add dry instant coffee & contine stirring. Add a chopped vanilla bean to the vodka, then combine the cooled sugar syrup & coffee solution with the vodka. Cover tightly & shake vigorously each day for 3 weeks. Strain & filter. Makes about 4 cups.
